This policy explains what personal data Udyam Journal collects, why we collect it, and your rights under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP) and the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Data we collect
- Newsletter subscribers: email address and preferences.
- Analytics: when you consent, Google Analytics 4 processes anonymised page-view data. We do not receive your name or email from GA4.
- Contact forms: the name, email and message you submit.
How we use it
- To send you newsletters you asked for.
- To measure which articles are useful and improve the site.
- To respond to your pitches, questions and corrections.
Consent & your rights
Under DPDP and GDPR you have the right to access, correct, erase or port your personal data. Email privacy@udyamjournal.in and we’ll respond within 30 days. You can withdraw newsletter consent at any time from the unsubscribe link in every email, and analytics consent from the footer of the site.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies (for session management) and, with your consent, analytics cookies. No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are loaded before you accept.
Data transfers
Data is stored primarily in the EU (Supabase) and processed in India. All transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
